I'm done fighting with my doctors. A variety of health issues have led me to a decision that I hoped I wouldn't have to make for a couple of more years.
Classic Radio Theater will end June 30, 2023.
I want to thank everyone who made this show possible over the years. I know it's only about three weeks for stations to make alternate programming arrangements, but it's a choice that I had to make. I'm nearing 70 years of age, and the grind of producing these shows is just too much.
It has been my honor and pleasure to serve you these past eight years.
As many of you have requested, I've reactivated the Buy Me A Coffee link as some of you have asked to be able to send me a farewell gift.

Wyatt, My husband and I will miss you greatly. We can only wish you the best and thank you for your wonderful work. Personally, I feel like I'm losing the company of a friend. With appreciation always...Susie
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear about this news. I've been a listener for some time and a broadcast affiliate for the past few years. With Classic Radio Theater ending at the end of the month, I don't think there's a single classic radio show that exercises the same format as your show. You and the show will be greatly missed.
ReplyDeleteI thank you for the hours of great programming and memories you have provided over the years. Making the shows available online has been much appreciated. I just turned 73 and went to a doctor for the first time in 40 years. He called an ambulance and sent me to the hospital. Apparently I am a walking time bomb. So take care of your health. We will miss you for sure.
ReplyDeleteAffectionately,
Debbi in Berlin MD.
